We are thrilled to announce that Kalani De Silva‘s outstanding work has been recognized with two prestigious awards at the 2024 Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA) Conference.
Kalani’s oral presentation was selected as the 2024 Fresh Ideas Young Presenter Winner. Additionally, her poster presentation was honored with the Best Poster Award. This exceptional achievement marks a significant milestone, as it is believed to be the first time one individual has won both awards.
As the Fresh Ideas award winner, Kalani has been invited to represent Ontario by presenting her poster at the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE) in Anaheim, California, from June 10 to 13, 2024. OWWA is pleased to provide her with a travel stipend of up to $2,000 to facilitate her attendance at this prestigious event.
