The Water Science, Technology, and Policy research group is delighted to announce that Master’s student, Taylor Virgin has been awarded the Davis Memorial Scholarship in Ecology. This prestigious scholarship, valued at $5,000, will be applied to the Winter 2023 term.
The Davis Memorial Scholarships have been established in memory of Robert M. and Doreen M. Davis to support outstanding University of Waterloo graduate students in the field of ecology. These scholarships are awarded annually based on the selection made by the Advisory Committee on Graduate Scholarships and Awards.
Eligibility criteria for this scholarship include:
- Full-time registration in a graduate program at the University of Waterloo.
- Enrollment in any area of Ecology, broadly defined.
- A first-class average (80%) over the last two completed years of study.
