Omar Chowdhury a Finalist at the GRADflix Showcase 2021 with Explainer Video on Microplastics
On January 29, 2020, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) hosted a virtual viewing party of the Top 25 GRADflix submissions before the winners were announced. Omar Chowdhury’s video explaining his research on microplastics in water sources was selected as a finalist and featured on the live stream.
The University of Waterloo’s community was invited to join a virtual viewing party of select GRADflix submissions before the winners were announced. The showcase was streamed live on the GSPA YouTube channel and featured special guests, audience prizes, and more.
The Water Science, Technology, and Policy group participated by cheering on Omar and voting for the People’s Choice winner.
